This senior level engineer will be working collaboratively with project teams to deliver robust continuous improvement solutions that meet the quality promise we make to our customers.  This role has a significant impact on the profitability of Renewal by Andersen and the experience our customers have through RbA products!


Andersen Corporation is a privately held, nationally recognized, and market leading manufacturer of premium quality windows and doors. Renewal by Andersen is the wholly owned Window and Door replacement division of the Andersen Corporation. 

Job Responsibilities
  • Utilize statistical analysis tools (SPC, Vartran, Minitab, PFMEA, Lean Sigma) to identify opportunities and drive quality improvement initiatives to completion
  • Maintain and improve upon the Andersen Quality Management System (Control Plans, Work Instructions, SPC, PPAP, NCM, CAPA, process capability, IQ response, etc.)
  • Provide frequent verbal and written updates to the project status, risks to timeline and/or budget, and recommendations to management team
  • Develop concepts for cost reduction opportunities, manufacturing flexibility, and SKU reduction

Minimum Qualifications 
  • BS in Engineering, Math/Statistics or equivalent engineering experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality or Process Engineering
  • Able to process and interpret data from a statistical perspective
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of design specification and documentation methods
  • Self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity
  • Expected travel of < 10%
Bonus Qualifications 
  • Experience in process improvement efforts (i.e. kaizen, etc.)
  • Lean Sigma Black Belt
  • Proficiency with Autodesk suite
  • Experience in SPC environment
