- Set-up color
- Set-up pump
- Monitor and maintain paint levels
- Track inventory
- Clean, maintain and repair all paint equipment
- Paint extrusions in touch-up booth to specifications
- Label and dispose of hazardous waste materials
- Maintain required EPA records
- Complete transaction
- Operate Nordson and Ransburg system
- Maintain and troubleshoot Nordson and Ransburg system and paint equipment.
- Maintain production run records
- Assure quality of painted metal
- Coordinate with touch-up painters and prep personnel
- Verify actual production to schedule
- Assure quality standards understood and they are met
- Ability to constructively work with others
- Perform Safety audits
- Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions
- Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives
- Coach and train new associates
- Assure conformance with the 5S program
- Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures
- Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals
- Assist with hazardous waste management
- Serve as a member of the Aluminum Paint Line department team, providing assistance as required
- High School Graduate/GED or prior Eagle Window and Door employment
- Ability to read prints
- Basic reading and math skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties
- Ability to lift and maneuver product. (Some position may require lifting up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to lift and maneuver bulky product
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift product throughout the assembly process
- Pass respirator exam
- Pass LOTO certification
- RCRA Trained
- Ability to work around paint and solvents
- Demonstrated ability to distinguish colors
- Understanding of related safety and record keeping policies
- Demonstrated ability to perform viscosity checks
- Basic product knowledge
