Maintenance Supervisor - (22345)
Supports production by minimizing unscheduled interruptions on plant equipment using planned maintenance, working closely with engineering and interfacing with corporate maintenance. In conjunction with Engineering and Operations, develop complete work plans for small projects/sub projects, including sequenced activities and coordination. Works independently toward completion of specifically defined events. Lead day to day tasks of the maintenance team. Responsible for maintaining EAM system.
Demonstrated understanding of resource planning and scheduling concepts. Creation and management of weekly schedule for assigned areas of responsibility. Use planning and scheduling techniques. Process requisitions for project or materials through EAM. Support management of EAM system.
Directs maintenance department. Ensures team produces the maximum quantity of work while maintaining a practical level of cost control. Develops the best possible work methods and ensures they are used for doing the jobs and for the basis of establishing sound standards. Creates and maintains a safe work environment.
Supports and fosters and environment of continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and implementing solutions that enhance the overall effectiveness of the operation. Works closely with engineering, scheduling, and production on implementing and continuously improving maintenance programs for the plants. Able to identify continuous improvement opportunities based on data regarding equipment reliability, work performance, schedule compliance, material usage, and other metrics pertinent to areas of responsibility.
Establishes relationships with vendors. Assist in ordering materials and supplies and receives materials. Responsible for managing vendor accountability in relation to expected outcomes.
Cross-functional coordination on projects and significant events in areas of responsibility. Collaborates with and assists engineers in project design and implementation. Coordinate work with all internal and external resources to accomplish projects or events according approved schedules.
Travel up to 15% required.

DIRECTION OF OTHERS
Coach, guide and train less experienced staff on business processes and technical issues within immediate work areas. Oversight of maintenance team activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's degree AND 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated understanding planning of and scheduling methodologies related to maintenance activities and successful application acquired through combinations of education and experience.
Extensive knowledge of MRO materials, sources of materials and services required to support areas of responsibility.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and human relation skills.
Highly motivated and able to work and lead in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong interpersonal administration, planning and coordination skills.
Demonstrates ability to effectively apply acquired knowledge, skills and abilities to a variety of assignments within a moderate range of technical difficulty.
