Description
    Provide timely, proactive administrative support to assigned individual(s) or team(s).
    • Frequently handle confidential information
    • Monitor Legal Department inbox; handle incoming mail
    • Prepare, proof and coordinate discovery, correspondence, reports, filings and other documents
    • Maintain calendar for Schedule & prepare environment for meetings
    • Track metrics for Litigation management
    • Legal File management (hardcopy and electronic) following legal retention requirements, as appropriate (e.g., AW Records Management process), including setting up and maintaining electronic and paper files
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and complete expense reports
    • Answer, screen, direct and follow-up when appropriate on phone calls
    • Complete special projects as assigned
    • Maintain standard work for position
    • Provide information on behalf of leaders to business partners
    • Provide back up to other administrative personnel as required
    • Other duties as required

 

 

 

 

Qualifications
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years experience in law firm, legal department or management-level support
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Must have good writing and communication skills
  • Establishes good interpersonal relationships with others
  • Strong organizational & coordination skills
  • High level of desktop computer skills, including spreadsheet, presentation, word processing, email, schedule management and associated software
  • Experience with legal matter management systems strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple and/or time dependent activities
  • Flexibility, cooperation and attention to detail
  • Focused on customer service
